A large group of students in the Primary group (1st-3rd grade) have been digging and finding treasures in the Outdoor Classroom, learning about excavation first hand.
So many discoveries have been uncovered! We have had many discussions about where these items could be from, how old they might be (ancient, like from the 90s), and what could still be there to discover.
Recently, we added metal detectors for the children to use. We are excited to see where this experience leads.
