We are currently seeking applications for:

Afternoon Outdoor
Teacher

position description:

This will be a new class offering at Marvelously Made for the 2020-21 school year!  

These teachers (classroom and assisting) will lead mixed-age groups of children for afternoon sessions in the Outdoor Classrooms 3-5 days a week.  Classes will be offered from 12:30pm-3:30pm and the teaching team will work three to four days a week from noon – 4:30pm.  Details about this class option are being determined and hours are subject to change slightly.

Classroom Teacher: Primary

position description:

We are looking for the perfect teacher to add to our mixed-age first through third-grade classroom.  This teacher will work with a team to provide rich, hands-on, authentic learning experiences to this group and will plan curriculum focused in the areas of science, art, and gardening.  This teacher will work 8am-1pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and 8am – 2:30pm on Tuesdays. 

Morning Assisting

Our assisting teachers provide the structure and support for all that happens in the classrooms.  If you love working with children, enjoy caring for and spending time with animals, value keeping spaces clean, tidy, and beautiful, and desire to work alongside some of the most talented and passionate educators then this is a great fit for you!  These teachers usually work 8am-1pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and 8am – 2:30pm on Tuesdays.  We are looking for assisting teachers to work with all age groups in order to meet the needs of our growing school!

The Collective

Position description:

The Collective is our brand new educational model for children in 4th through 8th grade!  Parents and educators will work together in this unique and amazing approach which will offer older children a community of learners while ensuring that math and language arts are individualized to each of them.  Children attend school 8:30am – 2:15pm where they learn history, earth, and environmental sciences, handwork, and art, and reap all of the benefits of belonging to a community of like-minded peers.  With the support of our education staff, parents choose and oversee math and language arts curriculum for their children to work on during the school day.  

The Collective Classroom Teacher will be responsible for creating a curriculum for the remaining areas of learning and will support the children during daily work sessions of language arts and math lessons.  This teacher is supported by a Program Coordinator and an assisting teacher, as well as, the parents and the Marvelously Made team.  Hours are 8am – 3:15pm, Monday through Friday.
