Children should come in clothing that can get dirty! Our days are filled with sand, water, dirt, paint, etc.
Parents are required to provide the school with a change of seasonally appropriate clothing in the event their child needs to change into clean or dry clothes while at school.
Shoes?
Close-toed shoes are recommended and cowboy boots are discouraged.
The children are not required to wear shoes while at school so it is important that, until children can properly secure their own shoes, slip-on or velcro closure shoes are worn to school.
We are outside in all kinds of weather - that means rain and cold, too. Dress your children in layers for cooler days. Be sure to send coats, warm shoes, gloves, and hats on cold days. Raincoats and boots are necessary for rainy days.
Pro-Parenting Tip...
Keep a large box of extra clothes and layers in your car (remember to include shoes!). If you arrive at school and it is colder than it was at home - no problem! If you pick your child up after school and their clothes are covered in paint - no problem! This is a perfect solution for our Marvelously Made families to almost any clothing need!
