Today our alpacas had a little “dental spa” visit!
Just like people, alpacas need routine tooth care to stay healthy and comfortable. Their teeth continue to grow throughout their lives, so every so often a veterinarian gently files (or “floats”) them down to be sure they can chew properly and eat with ease.
Healthy animals = happy animals = rich learning for children.
