Summer is coming—and so is shearing season!
Today, the children got to visit the garden and watch Chester get his summer haircut! He was sheared by Kaylee, a student involved in 4H and Ag at O’Connor High School—and also the proud big sister of one of our Farmhouse children.
The children were amazed to see how tiny Chester looked under all that fluffy wool… and they especially loved discovering his polka-dotted skin!
We will be sending a small sample of Chester’s wool home with the children today and tomorrow!
