Making Slime

Last week we held a Family Fun Day at our local fairgrounds and one of our most popular activities was Slime Making.  There are many, many recipes floating around these days for making slime and we have tried lots of them over the years.

We decided that the one we chose should be called “Marshmallow Slime” because it is super fluffy and not at all drippy.  Today we are sharing our recipe so that you can make it at home anytime you want to. Because it is a happy thing and you can never have enough of those in your life!

You will need:  4oz of glue, 2 cups of shaving cream, 3T of saline solution, and 1/4t baking soda.

That is it!

Here is how…

Combine the glue and shaving cream in a bowl (or a pot in my case – long story but it works).

Then you add the saline solution and baking soda.

It will look something like this:

It is a little bit sticky so you will need to work it with your hands.

Work it and work it and eventually it will look like this…

Then you play with it!

It is seriously hard to resist…for everyone!!

Store it in a zipper top bag when you are finished and you can use it over and over.

At least for a while.

Happy Slime Making!!
